Welcome to the Coastal Photography Blog
I am Norfolk Photographer, Janice Alamanou, specialising in Coastal Landscapes and the wildlife within.
My work is predominantly of the Norfolk coastline, my home and birthplace of many generations of my family – but I also photograph other coastlines including Greece. In my images I portray my passion for light, and the ever changing effect it has on the surroundings of this beautiful part of the country – describing the sea in colours of blue, green, black, grey and many shades between. “Some times things not noticed, even though seen”.
For several years I lived in Greece, on the picturesque island of Corfu. On returning to Wells-next-the-Sea, the contrast between bright sunlight and more subtle shades became obvious in my work. I still visit and continue to photograph in Greece.
Janice Alamanou – Coastal Photography is sold internationally. Works include: galleries and shops, magazines, newspapers, and commercial.
Photographs are printed on high grade/archival photographic paper and canvas. Sizes up to 2 metres. Landscapes are not distorted by digital manipulation, keeping a high standard and a true scene.
